Your license turns on one law exam, and the law it tests moves every year.
The jurisprudence exam tests two bodies of law at once, federal and your state's, and it rewards the edges: the stricter rule, the effective date, the number in the statute. Most exam prep summarizes other summaries, and goes stale the year it prints. This series starts from the law itself and says when it was checked.

Which MPJE study guide do I need?
One book, chosen by your state. If your state runs its own MPJE, get that state's edition. If your board has adopted the Uniform MPJE, get the Uniform MPJE guide. California candidates take the CPJE and need the California edition.
How current is the law in these books?
Every book is the 2026–2027 edition and states its effective dates inside. Because copies are printed when you order, corrections and refreshes reach new copies in days, not print runs.
When will my book arrive?
